Con inmensa alegría les invitamos a participar en el segundo Y2K Argentina – Festival Internacional de Live Looping., En esta ocasión nos encontraremos el 4 de febrero en la Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, el 7 y 8 en la Comarca Viedma – Patagones (Provincias de Río Negro y Buenos Aires respectivamente), 13 en Bariloche (Rio Negro) y 14 en Epuyen (Chubut).
La convocatoria estará abierta hasta el 22 de octubre de 2026. El único requisito es que tu música sea realizada mediante loops totalmente en vivo, no se aceptan pistas, secuencias, o ritmos pregrabados. No hay restricciones en cuanto al género o estilo, sin embargo buscamos que el discurso musical sea propositivo. Todo el material presentado deberá ser original, o libre de derechos. En el caso de ensambles, todos los integrantes deberán crear sus propios loops. Si tenés dudas o sentís que estás un poco en el borde, escribinos y vemos.
Podés inscribirte para una o varias de las siguientes propuestas en todas las sedes:
- Compartir lo que sabes. Preferimos formato taller pero puede ser charla también. 45 minutos de contenido más 15 de preguntas y respuestas y/o improvisación colectiva. Si se requieren materiales para la realización del taller, deberán ser coordinados con antelación o provistos por lxs talleristas. El Festival ofrece, además del sonido, un proyector y/o pantalla para materiales de soporte visual.
- Improvisaciones colectivas. Como en la edición anterior, haremos jams algunas noches. Es para cruzar artistas y también para involucrar al público. Esta dinámica supone cierta dirección e implica que otrxs músicxs o participantes de la audiencia podrían tocar tus instrumentos.
- Conciertos. Dependiendo de la sede, la duración será de entre 20 y 30 minutos. En ocasiones, podrías tener que montar y desmontar mientras otrx artista está en escena. Para ello tendrás 15 minutos de montaje y 10 para desmontar. Te pedimos ser sumamente discretx y hacerlo en silencio. Por respeto al público y a lxs demás artistas, es de vital importancia que todo el programa corra a tiempo, por lo que tu presentación podrá ser interrumpida si se excede de lo acordado con lxs demás artistas.
El Festival no provee backline. Deberás enviar salida de línea (mono o estéreo) a la mezcladora principal, mediante plug 1/4” o XLR. Tendremos un canal de voz adicional para anuncios.
Toda la organización del Festival es independiente y de carácter cultural y educativo por lo que buscamos que el público tenga oportunidad de disfrutar de todos lxs artistas sin una barrera económica. Sin embargo, estamos contemplando que algunos de los conciertos sean con una entrada paga para ayudar a cubrir los costos de producción sobre todo en Bariloche y la Comarca Andina.
Al momento de esta convocatoria estamos buscando apoyos públicos y privados que, de obtenerlos, serán comunicados. En esta instancia solicitamos a cada participante que cubra sus propios gastos de transporte y hospedaje. El Festival se ocupa de la difusión de todas las actividades, la disponibilidad técnica de sonido e iluminación para todas las presentaciones y el registro audiovisual de las mismas pero no ofrece un pago por las actuaciones o el dictado de los talleres y charlas.
Aplicar al Festival implica que has leído y estás de acuerdo con los requisitos de participación y con la forma de trabajo de la organización del Y2K Argentina – Festival Internacional de Live Looping.
Transparencia / Criterio
El principal requisito para participar del Festival Y2K es que la técnica de live looping sea central en el concierto. Como en la edición pasada, haremos lo posible porque todxs lxs artistas que cumplan ese requisito se puedan presentar. Si recibimos más solicitudes de las que podemos albergar, entrarán en juego varios criterios, de ahí la importancia de que completes a conciencia tu aplicación. Publicaremos los resultados el lunes 9 de noviembre. Si tu aplicación nos genera alguna duda, nos comunicaremos al email que hayas registrado en el formulario.
En esta edición tendremos 5 sedes en 3 territorios: Ciudad de Buenos Aires, la Comarca Viedma – Patagones, Bariloche y Epuyén. La idea es que en cada territorio se presenten 10 artistas. 2 artistas locales, 2 de la región, 2 del resto de Argentina, 2 del resto de lationoamérica y 2 del resto del mundo.
Lxs artistas que tocarán en cada lugar (se pueden repetir) lo armaremos según lo que marquen en el formulario y siguiendo los siguientes criterios:
- Artista que no se haya presentado en ese lugar en la edición pasada.
- Afinidad de la propuesta estética con el espacio de concierto.
- Cupo femenino según la ley 27539. https://www.argentina.gob.ar/normativa/nacional/ley-27539-333518/texto (Si bien la ley habla de un porcentaje determinado en cuanto al cupo, desde la organización creemos necesaria la participación diversa y el compromiso de generar un espacio de confianza y seguridad para la libre expresión de género, la autopercepción y las identidades todas).
- Las personas postulantes, integrantes de los equipos y demás participantes de la convocatoria deberán mantener durante todas las etapas del proceso una conducta basada en los principios de respeto, integridad, buena fe, responsabilidad, transparencia y trato digno. No serán admitidas conductas de discriminación ni violencia de ningún tipo. Ante algún episodio de está naturaleza, serán excluidos automáticamente.

Concerts. Depending on the venue, the duration will be between 20 and 30 minutes. Sometimes you may have to set up and break down while another artist is on stage. For that, you will have 15 minutes for setup and 10 for breakdown. We ask you to be extremely discreet and to do it silently. Out of respect for the audience and the other artists, it is vitally important that the whole program runs on time, so your presentation may be interrupted if it exceeds the time agreed with the other artists.
